The Tiburon Bay House, located in the San Francisco Bay Area, is the vision of owner Helene Marsh, graduate of the Master’s Program of the Bren School of Environmental Science and Management at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
The house was conceived as a contemporary, innovative approach to sustainable living and was designed by the renowned San Francisco firm of Butler Armsden Architects. It is slated to be one of the first LEED-H Platinum certified custom homes in Northern California, far surpassing the number of points required to reach Platinum Level, the highest "green" rating possible given by the United Sates Green Building Council. The construction is being managed by McDonald Construction & Development, a Bay Area leader in LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) home construction, pioneer of a collaborative partnership model for project management, and builders of the Margarido House the first LEED Platinum certified custom home in the Bay Area.
